As the town of Hillsborough has grown, Hog Day has remained a premier event. The Hillsborough Arts Council thanks the Hog Day team for your generous support. With your support, we were able to create better awareness of the arts and increase family art programming in Hillsborough. You are what Hillsborough is all about: community. Keep up the great work.

Funding from Hog Day helps TABLE to support our hunger relief and nutrition education programs. Specifically, in 2017-2018, we have delivered healthy food to up to 669 children weekly and monthly nutrition education services to 325 children. We are so grateful for your support in helping to feed and nourish our kids!

The Hummingbirds 4-H Club truly appreciates the generous donations of the Optimist Club, and we use those funds for the betterment of our community.  With the funds generated from this past year's Hog Day, the Hummingbirds "adopted" two students who attend Partnership Academy, Orange County's Alternative School.

While other Orange County Schools District schools have Angel Trees at the holidays and all angels are taken and student needs filled, this is not the case with Partnership Academy, where the need is great.  We partnered with the Partnership social worker who chose two students, based on need. The students provided the social worker with wish lists that were passed along to us.

Hummingbirds went shopping, armed with the student wish lists, calculators, and big smiles and happily filled a cart for each student, including items from their lists and Christmas stockings filled with surprises. Along with the lesson in giving, Hummingbirds learned about budgeting, kept up with their totals as items were added to the carts, and counted out cash and change at checkout.  We appreciate the opportunity that your generous donation allowed us to help others!
