Food Vendor Information: (these rules are NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- Spots will be $300 (non-refundable). They are 12x12 in size.
- ALL REQUIRED PERMITS are due AUGUST 1st to the vendor coordinator. If they are not submitted by this date, your spot will be given to a vendor on a waiting list and your payment will not be refunded.
- ALL food serving sites (as well as staff) MUST remain clean during the entire event. Provide hairnets, aprons and gloves for your workers if needed.
- A menu of ALL items you will be serving will also need to be submitted to the vendor coordinator by July 1st. Hog Day reserves the right to be the only vendor selling bottled water, soft drinks and Bar-B-Que. Vendors CAN sell Sweet Tea, Lemonade and other flavored teas and flavored waters. (Sweet Tea will do WELL!)
- Loud generators are not permitted. Your generator needs to be quiet and not smell or emit fumes. The vendor coordinator reserves the right to remove it if it is loud. There is LIMITED power on site if needed but you need to let vendor coordinator know WHEN YOU APPLY that you are requesting power access. You WILL need to supply the correct type of power cords to reach the power source.
- All food vendors must complete a “checkout process” with vendor coordinator before leaving. This checkout ensures your area is clean and all trash has been disposed of properly. You will not be permitted to leave until this is done.
- ALL food vendors must attend both Friday evening and Saturday to be approved.
- All food vendors must have an approved fire extinguisher. These will be checked upon your arrival. Failure to have one means you can not participate in the event.
- You will not be permitted to set up a dining area within your booth space; the space is for food preparation and service only.
- Your food trucks/trailers will need to stay there overnight on Friday. However, there will be someone there throughout the night to monitor them. We have cooking teams on-site all-night cooking BBQ so your food trucks/trailers will be safe.
- There is no smoking in the vendor area.
